Lodge a Complaint

The South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP) investigates complaints of alleged improper conduct against registered persons, including Professional Valuers, Professional Associated Valuers, Candidates, and Single Residential Property Assessors.

• Confirm that the person you are complaining about is registered with the Council.
• The Council cannot assist with recovery of money or act as an alternative to debt collection.
• The Council does not resolve valuation disputes relating to the value of a property (quantum).

• Your full name, residential/business address, postal address and email.
• A clear, factual description of the alleged improper conduct.
• All supporting documentation (as copies).
• Details of any witnesses.

• Complaints must be in writing and signed before a Commissioner of Oaths.
• Keep your complaint factual and objective; defamatory or unsupported statements may have legal consequences.
• Investigations take time to be conducted thoroughly.
• If you intend to take legal action, consider whether to wait for that outcome before lodging with the Council.
